Bright Villa – Natural Light and Organic Spaces
This project was realized with a long-standing client of ours – a professional who also builds high-quality properties. Our collaboration was based on trust: we were given free rein in professional decisions. The building was designed by one of our architect partners, so we were very familiar with the architectural concept. Our client's primary request was to design bright, natural spaces with minimal color, dominated by white and light wood – in keeping with the restrained modern architecture of the house and leaving space for natural light to flow in.
We removed the glass wall between the kitchen and the living-dining room because it turned out that it was never closed during use, thus making movement freer and the flow of space softer. From an environmental psychology point of view, this also contributed to a harmonious, open feeling of home. The kitchen is highly functional, with easily accessible appliances, yet everything can be hidden away. In the living room, a custom-designed chest of drawers serves as a serving table, while a large gray-toned poster on the wall adds character to the space. We integrated state-of-the-art mechanical and smart home systems into our designs.
The walk-in wardrobe and bedroom are closely connected: the dressing table receives direct natural light, which is ideal for getting ready and applying makeup. The bed offers a spacious view of the garden, allowing you to immerse yourself in the bird life while drinking your morning coffee. Here, too, function and light guided every decision: the space is open but remains intimate, and natural lighting increases everyday comfort.
In the bathroom, we enhanced the feeling of spaciousness and the flow of light: natural light floods the room through the window above the mirror. We warmed up the atmosphere in this space with oak surfaces and rounded the blade wall next to the shower stall. Our partner in the project, the carpenter, created precise, high-quality details, producing furniture that perfectly matched the client's needs and the character of the house.
